Friday night fun in boiseeeeeee!

With Alisha up in Spokane having fun, me and the kids decided to take in a local  NBA D Leauge basketball game!

It was a blast! It was breast cancer awareness night, so the team wore pink jersey's. I think Abree thought they did it for her, she loves pink!

Rylee even caught a XXXL t shirt from Rumble the mascot. I guess she can use it for a night shirt :)

Taylee hung out at a friends house

The home team won! It was an exciting close game up til the end. Really a fun game to watch. I had a blast watching the kids get into the excitement of the close game. It was really fun to hang out together!

IT was a very enjoyable evening. Well worth the time spent.

Driving 45 minutes at 7am when its 12 degrees outside in Dietrich idaho,  on no, sleep, worth it? ........

Starting your day looking at this.......

WAY WORTH IT!!

( Hanging out with julia and jc and the boys, and dexter, was way worth it too! Thanks jc and julia.)

Twin Falls Temple Trip

With the Boise Temple being closed for major remodeling, our ward planned a temple trip to Twin Falls.

We decided to make it a family affair. So Friday, after Jason got off work, we headed to Dietrich (just North of Twin Falls) to hang out and stay the night with J.C. and Julia's family.

While Jason and I attended the temple, the kids played with their cousins. J.C. gave the cousins turns riding on his motorcycles. Rylee and Taylee even got to drive the little one themselves! I'm kinda glad I wasn't there for that...it would make me nervous.

After lunch and a little more visiting, we headed back home.
It was a quick trip, but a good trip.

Meet Lexie and Party!

Tyrel and Lexie had been dating for several months. Lexie lives in Arizona..Tyrel lives here. Because of the long distance, not all of our family had met Lexie yet. So when Lexie came into town to visit, Tyrel arranged to have a family dinner. We hosted..they cooked. Quite the deal for us. :)

Candice's birthday was the day before, so we decided to celebrate with yummy treats, gifts and the birthday song too.
Tyrel & Lexie

"Happy Birthday Dear Candice...Happy Birthday to you!"

Our dinner was yummy..the company was good..the desserts were extraordinarily delicious!

Plate o' Chocolate:

Earthquake Cake, Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie and Oreo Delight... oh my!

We played games...a true test for Lexie to know if she wants to stick around and be part of this craziness. We were NOT on our best behavior, but on our NORMAL extremely competitive behavior. She got to see what games with the Waites are really like. :)

In the end, we asked some get-to-know-you questions and had a good time.

If I were to speak for the family, I would say we all really like Lexie and enjoy her company...no pressure Tyrel, ha!

A TRIBUTE TO MY, FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL, SMART, CREATIVE, SEXY WIFE!

This is Jason, Alisha's husband.

It has been a dream of mine to post on the blog.

Why would I post, you might ask?

To that, I am not sure I have the answer.

Maybe, im losing it.

Maybe I need to publicly humiliate my self occasionally to keep my life interesting.

Maybe, just maybe, I think this might score me "my husband is so cute!" Points.

Either way, this is my best attempt to make my dream a reality.

Hopefully you get something out of this, or find it humorous at least.

16 years ago on a bright summer day, I met alisha, and my life changed.

Since I came home from my mission I had been looking for some one to laugh with, tell my deep sappy thoughts to and they pretend to like them.

I had been looking for some one to share all the fun stuff, hard stuff, confusing stuff, and to feel deeply with.

I had found others who were some of these things, but not all  of these things.

Alisha was different than any of the others.

I had never met some body so beautiful, honest, sincere, and who I felt was not hiding their light under a bushel.

What I was seeing was what I was getting, and I loved what I was seeing.

Some body can go their whole life and never find that. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for her, and the blessing to have been able to find her.

Alisha does not like to be the center of attention, our have the spot light on her. So, alisha please forgive me for doing this.

I just was feeling very blessed and proud to be your husband, and wanted to share that with others.

I know others feel the same way about your caring and selfless giving. The way you love to share your creative mind, and your gentle spirit.

People, respect you and look up to you in so many ways. You are a wonderful human being.  My life, and this world, is a better place because of you.

I am so proud of how much thought, time, effort and love you spend on raising our children. They are confident, caring and beautiful people because of you.

I am a better man every day because of you.

I know this is pretty, cheesy. But hey, you love cheese right?

This is only a small part of how I feel.
I just had to get it out. I love you. Jason

If there is anyone else that what like to share a comment about Alisha feel free. I think she is the best and I know others agree!

I was going to make this cute and crafty and make Alisha proud, being my first blog ever. But I will need to have Alisha help me next time.

CTR

With the new year, came a new theme in Primary; Choose the Right...or CHEWS the right. For our Primary children's spotlight gift, we decided to give out CTR rings.

I wanted to contain and package them in a fun way. My first thought was a gumball-type machine with those plastic bubble containers that you get cheap-o toys in. I couldn't find them in a small enough quantity, for a decent price, so I came up with the tulle "wedding favor" like wrapping. It definitely would be cuter with the plastic bubbles for our gumball machine, but oh well it works.

This went so much better in my head. :)
